Absolutely love going to this place anytime I'm in Newcastle as it's easily the best Mexican food I've have. My family and I have tried most things on the menu now and honestly it's all delicious but my go to favs are the fish tacos, corn chips with guac and the horchata milk drink which is unique and very tasty. I wish there was one in Sydney!

Stumbled across this taqueria while visiting Newcastle for a few days. An absolute gem. The atmosphere on a busy Saturday night felt like I was back in Mexico at a street market. The tacos were excellent and generous. The service was quick and friendly. The overall vibe is relaxed and fun. There's a small but excellent selection of beers: some Mexican, some local craft beers and Sierra Nevada pale ale. The nachos, so often disappointing in Australia, made my partner very happy.

Absolutely the best Tacos in Australia! We have had a lot and these were truly amazing. My boy of 15 whoofed down 4 in a space of minutes. He reckons it was the greatest meal of his life!!
As a new local I was recommended to try this place and I can definitely see the appeal. The food was authentic, fresh, reasonably priced and incredibly tasty. Even though it was a busy Friday night service was quick and the staff were efficient and polite. Absolutely will be back!
We loved this place! The Mexican food was amazing — the tacos were packed with flavour, fresh, and perfectly made. I ordered the Super Tacos combo (carnitas, suadero and fish) with a Mexican Modelo beer, which was spot on for a hot afternoon. Everything was so good that I ordered more ... pollo tacos and carnitas again, because when something is that good, you just have to repeat 😄 Impossible to resist! The service was a total hit: super friendly, warm, and attentive. They understood exactly what we wanted and made us feel very well looked after. We finished with a delicious, refreshing Horchata, which completed the perfect meal. Highly recommended for the food, the staff, and the atmosphere!

I've got to say, this place has the most amazing Mexican food I've had on the East Coast so far! It's super busy, which is always a good sign, but the service is still great and surprisingly quick. We were lucky to snag a table for four, but even with the crowd, our food came out fast. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and honestly, I wish I could have eaten more because it was all so good! The spice level was perfect, and I even added some extra heat. I can't recommend this place enough – if you're in the area, definitely check it out. I already can't wait to go back!
